Students will require the following to complete this unit:
Grid-Connected Battery Storage Design and Install is delivered in person at our training centres and supports learners working towards Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) accreditation.
Students will be required to complete an online component of pre-course learning. For guidance on the time commitment involved, please refer to the nominal hours listed under ‘Duration and Schedule’ for each nationally recognised unit included in your course.
You can find upcoming course dates and enrolment details in our course calendar.
To support your study planning, please refer to the nominal hours outlined below for each nationally recognised unit included in this course.
In the context of Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and Vocational Education and Training (VET), "nominal hours" refer to the anticipated time needed to deliver and assess a unit of competency or module.
You may take longer to complete your unit of competency or you may take less depending on your experience and any previous training.
Our class based activity is generally where you complete the practical assessment part of your training with the remainder being completed on-line.
The abovementioned nationally agreed hours have been agreed to by all States and Territories for use in national reporting of VET data.
The abovementioned nominal hours is published as a general guide for your information and guidance.
Theory quizzes completed online.
In-class practical assessments for installation and integration tasks.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be issued a Statement of Attainment listing the following Nationally Recognised Units of Competency:
Graduates who complete the course will also be eligible to apply for Grid-Connected Battery Storage Design and Install Accreditation through Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA). For detailed information on the requirements and application process, please visit the Solar Accreditation Australia website.
